Dark Chocolate
Conching time: 30 hours
A top cuvée comprised of rare cacao varieties courtesy of indigenous cacao farmers from 5 different countries: Belize, Guatemala, Colombia, Panama and Bolivia, where cocoa is cultivated in the rain forest by Mayas and other indigenous communities.
Cacao thriving in mixed cultures in the rain forest, right beneath tall trees that offer plenty of shade. Cacao is among the most important sources of income for indigenous communities, as it’s perfectly adapted to their environment. They cultivate, harvest and sell it while at the same time protecting the environment.
Enjoy this dark, delicious chocolate with 75% cacao power, a traditional origin and a fascinatingly mild aroma profile with nutty caramel notes. Enhanced with a bit of cacao fruit sweetness, the dried white flesh of the cacao fruit, which adds some refreshing fruity tartness to the mix. Cacao farmers and their children love this sweet cacao pulp – it’s their preferred snack.
Limited edition: available only for one year.
Fragrance notes: chocolate pudding, light nut bread
Taste notes: notes of caramelized nuts and chocolate cake, subtly sweet and spicy, fruity notes of apple
