Drinking chocolate smoothie: A creamy power drink, which consists 100% of fine Ecuardorian cocoa and is frothed up with hot water directly in the blender. The idea of Xocitto is like of an espresso. Xocitto can be enjoyed simply in its pure form or with sugar and milk added to taste. Entirely individual – just as one prefers it – thus pure chocolate espresso kick or chocolate macchiato or chocolate cappuccino, chocolate affogato and much more.
Preparation
A creamy mixture
In a small pan, bring 100ml water to the boil, add the Xocitto bar and combine well with a hand blender. Briefly boil one more time and the chocolate espresso is ready! Enjoy with milk and sugar or black.
We recommend double portions – just use 200ml water and 2 Xocitto bars
A quick mixture
Blend a bar of Xocitto 100% with 0.1 liter of hot water, either in a blender or using a hand-held blender. Just as with coffee, Xocitto can be enjoyed individually with little or lots of sugar and milk – or none at all!

OMG! I thought this chocolate would be like the Mexican chocolate at the grocery store, nope! I’ll admit I did nibble on the bar, I wanted to taste what a pure chocolate would taste like before sweetened and thinned down, over powering without the nasty aftertaste. Very much has an oil in this so it made it less uncomfortable. I followed the directions on the box, for those not into metrics, 1 litre is 32 ounces or 4 cups. Make the water boiling, add a whole bar, and blend, it’ll look like it might not be mixing, but be patient. It’ll start foaming and this is when you know it’s done. I let mine set aside for a few minutes for the foam to settle, then I poured into four cups and let everyone sweeten the drink to their tastes. Wow! So much flavor and it was filling too.
