This cacao of kings features subtle herbal notes that add nuance, and it finishes with layers of ripe plum, tart cherries, and the fresh tang of kefir, all culminating in a pleasantly bitter, gently spicy, and woodsy aftertaste.

Chuncho from the El Quinacho Cooperative—a rare heirloom cacao variety from Peru. Chuncho grows only in the Cusco region, thriving at unique altitudes from 1,312 to 4,265 feet. This fine-flavor cacao is remarkably mild with a complex, fruity aroma. Savor this single-origin, high-percentage chocolate: it’s unexpectedly smooth and inviting, even at 82% cacao.
